Are you a student or young professional looking for a workspace in Grenoble? Say goodbye to sometimes too noisy cafes and libraries, where you’re not supposed to make any noise. Have you thought about coworking spaces? You may not have known it, but Grenoble has many very nice coworking spaces. Dedicated to collaborative work, you can enjoy the atmosphere of a real company with your own workspace, meeting rooms, unlimited coffee and tea, and the high-speed internet connection you need.

Today, we are sharing you our selection of the 5 most popular coworking spaces for working in peace in Grenoble. Let’s get started!

La Turbine

La Turbine Espace De Coroking À Grenoble

Located in the west of the city, in the Chorier-Berriat neighborhood, La Turbine is a coworking space unlike any other. Described as a collaborative factory of general interest services (according to the official site), it’s a unique place that combines shared workspace and digital programming venues.

La Turbine stands for friendliness and sharing. Here, you won’t find any private offices. All spaces are open to foster collaboration among all coworking users. La Turbine can accommodate about 20 people at individual workstations, spread throughout this large open space. If you need to isolate for meetings, you can rent a dedicated room for the necessary duration: 1 hour, 2 hours, or half a day.

To give you a preview of the space, the general atmosphere, and the way of working, La Turbine offers you a free half-day trial of the coworking space.

The memberships offered are also different from other coworking spaces. There are no hourly subscriptions and no commitments here. You’ll have the choice between a monthly package at 210€ excluding VAT or 20 half-days at 200€ excluding VAT. Are you out of electricity? Has your internet suddenly decided to cut off? If you need a temporary workspace, La Turbine welcomes you for 25€ a day.

Pros: A real coworking space as one would imagine

Cons: There are no hourly packages, which may not suit some people

CoWork in Grenoble

Head to the north of Grenoble, right in the city center, to discover this coworking space that’s not like the others. If you’re a fan of unique places to work, welcome to CoWork in Grenoble.

We open the doors of this convent where calm and serenity reign. Around a beautiful tree-lined cloister, you’ll find 600 m² of shared workspaces, meeting rooms – much more pleasant to receive your clients – and coaching and training rooms. Because CoWork is not just a space created for work, it’s also a place where the 6,000 members who have passed through in the last 10 years can open up to new perspectives and entrepreneurship.

With its real family atmosphere, by choosing to make this place your new workspace, you’ll feel at home. All kinds of activities are also organized, such as numerous after-work events, evening gatherings, and training sessions. When it comes to work, you can settle into one of the 60 workstations or on one of the couches, perfect for catching high-speed internet, with a free cup of coffee or tea in hand. If you need to find yourself in a private space to concentrate or make a call, that’s also possible. Everything is arranged to make your work time as productive as possible.

CoWork offers different subscription rates, from 20€ excluding VAT per day to 220€ excluding VAT per month, giving you the possibility to have your desk as if you were in a real company (with your storage unit, your personal key to leave your belongings, etc.). If you also want to test this coworking space before settling in for good, your first day is free! So don’t wait any longer!

Intrépide House

Intrépide House Espace De Coroking À Grenoble

The third coworking space we wanted to introduce to you definitely has some spice. Intrepid House is not like any other coworking space (another one, but in Grenoble, they all have something different).

Located on the banks of the Isère, in the Ile Verte district, this well-thought-out project was opened by its creator, Justine. Also the founder of a communication agency and a clothing line of the same name, she envisioned this space as an inclusive, caring, and feminist place. The nerve center of the battle.

Inaugurated in January 2023, the Intrepid House can accommodate about ten people at its workstations, but that’s not all. If you choose to come work here, you can take advantage of the photo studio, perfect if you need to organize photo shoots, a workshop if you’re an artist or entrepreneur, and various relaxation areas, perfect for resting between meetings or taking a yoga class! If you enjoy cooking, you can share convivial moments with other members in the large kitchen provided.

As for rates, Intrepid House is in line with your budget. From 10€ for a half-day to 18€ for a full day, but if you prefer a monthly option, you’ll only pay 200€. With access from Monday to Friday during traditional business hours, you can even test the place for free during your trial day. There’s nothing better to soak up all the atmosphere and good vibes emanating from the Intrepid House. So, are you intrigued?

Pros: A unique and inclusive concept

Cons: The limited number of available workstations

Régus “Grenoble City Business Centre”

We’re back in the west of the city to discover one of the most professional coworking spaces. And we’re not saying this because the others aren’t, but simply because this one is located in a business park 😉 You’ll have no trouble getting there thanks to its proximity to public transportation and its parking lot, perfect for not having to search for a spot for hours.

This collaborative work environment is divided into several areas. It includes 10 coworking desks, 76 private offices, and 4 meeting rooms. You’ll have plenty to exchange and share with the various professionals in the Regus community present. In addition to this, this space offers virtual offices for setting up your company remotely in one of Regus’s many business locations, relaxation areas, and even showers, perfect for refreshing yourself after a workout on the premises.

As for your finances, several subscriptions are available: from 65€ per month for virtual office rentals to 179€ per month for a physical office. Unfortunately, there are no hourly rates, but Regus offers something extra compared to other mentioned spaces: your subscription gives you access to other coworking spaces of the group. Everywhere in France. A superb solution if you need to travel or if you were to move.

Pros: Its location, in the heart of a business park and with all amenities at its feet

Cons: Few membership options available

Let’s end this article with a place that is unlike any other. If you’re looking for a place that combines both coworking spaces and true living spaces, read on!

Opened in early 2023 in the Saint-Laurent district (the Little Italy of Grenoble), The Babel Community is a multi-service venue. In an open space or in fully equipped closed offices, you’ll have a choice depending on your desires and needs. The complex has several meeting rooms but also ancillary services that we mentioned just before.

If you like to expend energy before or after work, it has a superb fitness room. Speaking of price, if you don’t want to commit, you can access the shared workspaces for 20€ HT per day. However, if you already know that you will spend all your time there, several monthly offers are available to you and your budget: from 199€ HT for a seat in the open space, to 300€ HT per month for a closed office with 2 workstations, the choice is yours.
